Holland Lops, Lionheads, Netherland Dwarfs, Dutch, and English Lops From The Bunny Hutch - A Rabbitry in La Grande, Oregon

Jobin is no longer raising Dutch. He sold his herd in Spring of 2009 ..many bunny blessings to those who bought his Dutch stock!

Our entire Dutch program belongs exclusively to our son, Jobin, who is 14 years old.

Several years back he fell in love with this good natured breed when he saw them at his first rabbit show. Their fun, easy-going personalities and flashy markings caught his eye and he had his heart set on raising Dutch.

In the Spring of 2004, he purchased his first GC Tort buck and a lovely black doe with his own money to begin his Dutch endeavor.

In that time, Jobin has learned so very much through his Dutch project. He has truly been blessed by the several adult breeders who have sold him quality stock and helped him put together a winning herd.

Currently, Jobin keeps his Dutch herd limited to about 12 high quality Dutch, in his favorite colors, Blue and Black.

Jobin purchases his animals with his own money, makes his own breeding decisions, and basically manages his Dutch herd all on his own, with just an occasional tidbit of motherly advice.

He has come so far in the 4 years raising Dutch. He has learned to persevere and not give up when that first peek into a nestbox reveals a litter of mismarks! There are so many life lessons that can be learned through raising rabbits.

Jobin is now producing  many winning Dutch. He has Granded several homegrown Dutch, won many BOB's and even a Best In Show and Reserve in Show with a beautiful Black doe he raised...what an awesome accomplishment!
